Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology St. Petersburg Pasteur Institute (Pasteur)

The Institute was created in 1923 and has gained a leadership position among epidemiological institutes in Russia oriented to the public health applications of the biomedical sciences.

Expertise related to their role in the project: One of main subjects of the Insitute´s research activities in 1997-2009 is directly related to the proposed project: molecular epidemiology and detection of multidrug-resistant TB (MDR-TB), including development and evaluation of new tools for TB control in Russia.
